SELREC operates the Selecta and Shotgun labels and owns the catalogues of Ardent / Zing / Forever. We are exclusive EU licensees for many American labels including Quinvy, South Camp, Creative Funk etc. We have licensed masters to Universal, Ace, Passion, Expansion, BBE, Outta Sight, Soul Brother, Go Ahead, Beatin' Rhythm, Demon, Sanctuary, Grapevine, Z Records etc.

We also provide mastering, custom pressing and design services to clients such as Capitol / EMI North America, Soul Intention, Beatin' Rhythm, Hit And Run and Soulscape etc. We have accounts with plants in the UK, Europe and USA and can supply worldwide.

Recent projects at our SUITE SIXTEEN studio include Debbie Taylor, Detroit Soul, The Supremes, Gloria Lynne, The Four Tops, Don Varner, Rhetta Hughes, Eddie Floyd, Eli 'Paperboy' Reed & The True Loves etc.

Selrec is owned by music publisher Paul Mooney, MD of Millbrand Music Ltd. He previously owned Ardent Enterprises and in 1993 he negotiated major recording and publishing deals with Polydor Records and PolyGram Music for the double-platinum selling group Lighthouse Family. For seven years Paul was production manager and A&R consultant for Grapevine Music Group.

Selecta Records Limited was launched in January 2007 with new singles by Sheba Potts-Wright, Bobby Hutton and Simone De. Hutton's single was also featured in the Clubbed movie.

SHOTGUN RECORDS was established in May 2007 as a subsidiary label to focus on classic soul music. The catalogue features singles by David Sea, Rozetta Johnson, Sam Dees, Eddie Floyd, Sir Ted Ford, Sandra Wright, Rhetta Hughes, Don Varner, Gloria Lynne and Debbie Taylor.

The priority release 'Just Don't Pay' by Debbie Taylor was issued on Shotgun SHOT 110 on November 7th. The single features an extended version and the original edit of this eternal favourite.

More quality soul singles are scheduled for release on Shotgun Records in December and January.
